Get To Know Me
My name is Lisa and I have been happily married to Chet for 31 years, we met in high school and have always been best friends. Our only daughter, Taylor, recently got married to someone also named Taylor. Photography has always been a passion of mine. As long as I can remember I have loved to take pictures.
I started with polaroid and a 110 camera, then in high school started shooting with 35 mm Minolta and used the school darkroom to develop the film for the yearbook.
I still take my camera everywhere I go so I'm prepared to capture whatever special event or moment I stumble upon. I love taking pictures and sharing them with my clients. I want to make sure everyone can enjoy the memories for a lifetime.
In the past I have mainly shot competitive cheer, friends and family. I have always wanted to get more into portraiture and so excited that I now am able to pursue my dream. I enjoy kids and being around them whether it is for newborn, milestones or family session. I also enjoy engagement, seniors, proms and weddings. I recently joined a studio and have found another passion for in studio photography.
I volunteer for The Down Syndrome Association of Charlotte. I have had the pleasure of taking pictures at their annual Santa Breakfast and St Patricks/Easter Party for the past several years.
I also volunteer as an photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. This is a non-profit organization that provides the gift of remembrance photography for parents suffering the loss of a baby. I want to use my passion to give back to others. Loosing an infant would be so devastating. My wish is to help parents deal with their loss by having photographs of their beautiful angel with them forever.
If you are interested in a session let me know. I look forward to capturing your moments for you.
